If you asked me what's my favorite day of the week I'd immediately respond, "Saturday or Sunday" because, simply put, I get help.  There's nothing more I want then to pamper myself with a Mommy blowout, a full-face of makeup and a cup or coffee that hasn't gone cold.  All these things are made possible with the help of my hubby and my in-laws watching the kids.  But lets not get carried away.  I still try to hurry because it's just something we Mom's do!  Sort of like eating fast because your not sure when you will actually eat another meal... #mommyproblems 😆 That's why I love my new NuMe products and I thought I'd share how you can achieve a perfect blowout in no time! So grab your pumpkin-spiced cup of Joe, (hopefully it won't get cold while you watch) and take a seat.

Did you know that towel drying is not advised?  Terry cloth is perfect for drying your body but its terrible for your hair.  This NuMe Microfiber hair wrap is easy to use and really effective when it comes to timed drying.  Not only does it cut drying time, it absorbs 80% more than your towel.  Don't worry, you don't have to hold it up like I'm doing.  Simply twist, pull back and loop it through the hook.  It's gentle on hair and machine washable.  I even use mine when I take a shower and don't want to get my hair wet.  Multiple uses are a Mommy YES!

You won't want to skip this step.  Add this thermal heat protectant (properly called "watch me werk") for a barrier against damage while also sealing cuticles and reducing frizz.  Also, I noticed my hair smells like perfume afterwards and I love it!  As always, start spritzing from the ends and work your way up.  Comb through and then begin step three.

Section off your hair.  Usually, I only do two sections since my hair is of fine texture.  You can do more especially if you have longer hair, bangs or layers.  Now you can begin blow drying!

I use the NuMe Technique Ionic hair dryer.  This ionic dryer breaks down water molecules while emitting non-damaging infrared heat.  Don't worry, it does have two heat levels + it boasts a "cool shot" to set looks right away.
I used to think blasting my hair on the hottest setting was the best way to getting a blowout but I needed to pump the breaks!  Fine hair texture actually doesn't need a high heat setting.  It's best if the temp is lower and the fan speed too so I can collect all the strands in my Ionic hair brush.
What's that?  Oh, it's my magical hair wand that also doubles as a mic when I'm singing my favorite Selena songs... This brush shaft changes shades when fully heated from black to white so you know when to begin styling.  I like to roll clockwise towards my head to imitate a few barrel curls.  Then, I add a cool shot to seal the curl.

Add some texture cream, oil or go old school with some hairspray.  Whatever you use, apply it to set your look and then, shameless-selfie photoshoot!

I always feel re-fueled after a good girly pampering.  When I'm refueled, I'm a better parent and spouse and luckily I have a team of people ready and willing to help out!  I am also lucky I took the time to look into a good healthy hair routine too.  I hope you have a great week and here's to those healthy strands fortified, protected and styled by NuMe.
