It didn’t take long to realize my little girl was going to have full, bouncy hair. Even as an infant, she could have easily booked a panteen commercial for babies. As time went by, her hair became progressively harder and harder to tame with nap time being the “curl killer”. But with a few products on hand, keeping those curls cute is easier than you think.
I was asked by a girl at Trader Joe’s ((literally on Sunday)) how it is to comb through her hair. Even though it’s no quick job, I actually find it very therapeutic. In fact, I told my husband that it’s my favorite thing in the world. After bath time, I gently towel dry her hair, spray it with Honest Conditioning detangler, and use a fine comb. I start at the bottom of her hair ((which is half way down her back)) and work my way up. After I’ve finished, I scrunch her curls with my hands. When she wakes up from a nap, I simply spray some detangler in it and scrunch. Also, we use the Honest shampoo and body wash to wash her hair. I wash it every other day but sometimes we push it to three days. I found out that her curly fine hair only needs cleansing every once and a while.
