Happy Halloween!! I know its been a crazy weekend of parties, costumes and treats. But if you are like me, you want several costumes for several occasions. And you don’t wanna bend over backward for something everyone else is wearing. I personally don’t like buying costumes. Making them however, is so much fun!
Below I have listed a few fun and easy costumes for your little one’s that only require what you have on hand. I have personally seen these adorable outfits online and in real life. For instance, a lumberjack requires a flannel, boots, denim and a fake axe. An empty diaper box, spray painted silver, makes a fun robot. An old pair of bifocals can go with a knit top to make an elder person costume. A onsie with leggings underneath and some leg warmers makes a great aerobics instructor. Or hit up goodwill for some great and thrifty pieces to create your own one-of-a-kind costume!

Costumes for children:
Penelope is a bank robber. I taped her stripes on her tee, used an old mask and hand made money bag from last year. I think with a little bit of thought, you can create almost anything! Remember to be safe this Halloween!
