My life and family were both completed on the same day. That was the day that Penelope was born. Two years ago we welcomed our daughter in early fall. Since then, Penelope has brought us so much joy. This year we wanted to celebrate together as a family with the simpler things.
We started her birthday off by taking her to the pumpkin patch. Specifically, mr. bones pumpkin patch ((which I recommend visiting!)) in Culver City. After a corn maze, petting zoo, and numerous photos, we made our way back home. Then it was back home to get some sleep before everyone came over. We had some family come over for cake, coffee and BBQ.And not in that specific order!
Since turning two, Penelope has never ceased to amaze me.She can count to 10 in Spanish and in English. She uses full sentences and knows her ABCs. Her favorite thing to do is to make faces on snapchat. Her thick expressive eyebrows make it very easy for her to do so.She’s quiet in public but loud at home. She will cook a “meal” for every person in her baby kitchen, carefully bringing the food on pretend plates. She loves, nurtures, and caters to all her stuffed toys. But she’s also fearless and attempts to do anything. Especially if she see’s her brother do it. She steals toys from her brother but is quick to hand them back saying “here you go Ace.” I think its safe to say she loves him and loves to bother him.
I’m constantly torn between wanting you to be my baby forever, and being excited about all the wonderful things you will accomplish. I love you Penny P!
