Can I tell you a secret? This was the easiest shoot I ever had to prep for. The only prepping I did was driving to the Starbucks drive through.. Pajamas and all. Yep, that’s my bed head ((which really isnt too bad for a comb over)) and my no-makeup look.
Also, this might look like Garance Dore ((author of Love, style, life)) paid me to have her darling book in like, every photo. But alas, she is not. No one is. It’s just SO cute, I had to. Plus, I have been reading it every night and I can’t put it down!
Anyways, this pajama set is exactly what I will be wearing Christmas morning.. Or perhaps every single day leading up to it. And after. I’ve linked it here. See, the point is to wear pajamas AFTER the Holidays, otherwise, its a bit wasteful. Now, if you already had a pair that you only wear for the Holidays that’s cool. I like buying things that I feel are necessary and wearing the hell out of them. Less stuff is a happier Me.
The bunny slippers are my kids favorite. They spend more time OFF my feet then on. As I type this, my slippers are being bear hugged by Ace as he takes his siesta. Snagged those at a +Forever 21 sale for like $5.
I’m finally proud to show my room… well, most of it. Heck, that’s all of it!! I have a very small house, of which I’m extremely proud of. I’d like to say I got rid of my bed frame and night stands but truth is, they weren’t mine and the owner changed her mind. Sooo, BoHo it was. Actually, I wanted a bed that my kids could climb into easily and not get hurt falling off. Check and check.
My clothing rack is something I really like to look at. Ugh, and it rolls. You know, it was $12?? Yes. Its fantastic and that rug by my bed was only $30. All from +IKEA USA . And that makes up most my room. I’m trying to downsize lately and I’m finding it makes me feel light and happy to get rid of stuff. 2017 is off to a good start already!!
Thanks for joining me. What do you like to wear to bed? Will you be in your PJ’s when you open your gifts?
