Summer is almost here but I am battling June gloom and a nasty cold. Luckily, I specialize in long jackets ((because they are awesome)) and pulled out this green one for a day in the Art’s District. I wanted to be comfortable and to match the artistic, Urban background in downtown Los Angeles. There’s a number of brownstone and brick surrounding a small artisan neighborhood bustling with well dressed casual inhabitants.
They eat well and dress well. I suggest you check it out if you are visiting LA metro area and try Van Leeuwen’s Artisan Ice cream too! They have the most delicious vegan mint chip that will remind you of when you used to eat dairy! #vegansummer
I took my green utility jacket down from the closet and paired it with my new favorite romper that I picked up at ((drumroll)) Target! It’s by Xhileration and it’s a juniors size xs! Can you believe it? Sometimes I even get away with buying in the girls section. That goes to show you that most things are best tried on. The silky shiny fabric flows brilliantly while seemingly complimenting many body type’s. I tied a silky fabric around my waist because I’m petite and I HAVE to have a waist. Otherwise, I feel like I look like a box. Lastly, pairing this ensemble with a sneaker makes it less girly and adds an unexpected twist on a silky fabric. Take a look below but I caution you. You might fall in love with this romper.
I would love to see how you style a satin jumpsuit like this. Do you dress for the environment like I did above? Let me know below! Or you can always tag #momjeansandmimosas #mjandmsyle Also, stay tuned for a little giveaway I will be doing on my next lifestyle post.
