Makeup before I had kids was a ritualistic pleasure. Almost like a coming-in-to womanhood since my makeup days didn’t start till later in life. Taking my time was an understatement but these days, that only comes twice a week. Those are the two days that my husband is home, meaning, Saturday & Sunday. Two. Days. That’s it! But what about the weekdays? How do you get ready in 5 minutes? With the help of muliti-purpose lipsticks and primers in the form of sprays. I even use my fingers to blend on days when I really need to boogie…

I should change this blog title to 5 minute makeup for MOMS because all Mom’s are busy… We juggle careers, groceries and bills. On days when the kids are a mess and you have a doctors appointment, use these shortcuts with your makeup:
BB cream or tinted moisturizer: works best for day to day because its protection from the sun and tinted. I almost NEVER wear foundation unless I have time to blend with a beauty blender.
Wakeup and mascara: I always put mascara on after I wash my face. It’s easy because when it comes to doing my makeup, I don’t have to wait to let it dry.
Use sprays: Primer spray & setting spray are time savers because you can spray your face and while it dries, jump straight in to doing your brows! ((which is where I spend most my time))
Use brow gel: It’s like mascara for your brow. I love doing a full brow but when I don’t have time, I just do a bottom line with palmade and brow gel for the top portion.
Use a hydrating lipstick as a blush too: I use my kaplan MD perfect pout in their newest shade, Sunset to dab on my cheek bones and on my pout as well. It’s very easy to blend on a liquid-primed face.
