My husband is always coming home to a re-arranged house and 90% of the time, it’s the kids rooms. Kids are the ideal creators and I want to cater to their innovative imaginations while still keeping them little. Ace’s room was due for an update since this Thursday, he will be 6 years old. We surprised him with a room update and the coolest kid couch ever!

I’m always on the lookout for companies that stand out in our over-saturated toy market. Here’s a few questions I’m always asking myself: How will this toy provoke my child’s imagination? Why am I considering buying this for my child? Will it add to their cultural enrichment? Will it help them develop skills that they need?
That’s where the Nugget Comfort comes in.
We noticed early on that Ace was intrigued with building structures and seeing how things work and operate. I knew when I came across the Nugget family that they had created something tailor made for him. The nugget is more than a couch, it’s a slide, a reading nook and sometimes a tent. It’s always challenging Ace to re-create and re-build. Much like his blocks and cubes, the Nugget keeps him busy and even his sister can get in to it.
We have a house the size of most small apartments. Ace’s room can’t fit much so I had to be creative with the space issue. The under side of his bunk served no purpose until I placed the nugget there. It can be stacked too if you have even less space. You can find all the specs for the Nugget here.
So far, we have used it in the living room and his room. In kid play, that’s like 50 dives, 38 slides, 100 jumps, 5 attempted front flips and one very long nap. We are planing a trip to the backyard soon but don’t worry we have turf. However, If you were wanting to clean this cool invention, you can check out the care instructions here. The nugget fam even put the couch to 2,940 stain tests! It’s made to take a kid beating and I should know, I have two.

I added a chalkboard wall underneath his bunk + some very cute bear decals (you can find here) under his window. We also gave him a lava lamp as a nightlight. But the biggest addition to his room was the nugget and my Mama heart just flows over every time I see him play with it. If you want to snag Ace’s nugget for yourself, you can visit nuggetcomfort.com
