I haven’t done one of these photo journals since 2015! When I got asked by my Uncle if I could model this Alfred Angelo vintage dress, I couldn’t say no. Adorned with Chantilly lace, balloon sleeves and a train that would make a peacock envious, it encompassed all that is vintage. We decided shooting it in a wooded area would show great contrast while also adding a dreamy nostalgia. What do you think?

To say the whole shoot was dreamy was an understatement with the sun bidding adieu behind this tired tree. I actually wore my vans underneath the dress even though I brought heels. This kind of juxtaposition is what I really love about fashion. The lace detail and sheer sleeves couldn’t have been prettier. I felt as if I was a run away bride seeking shelter in nature. Maybe that’s why I love vintage finds. They always have a story to tell and as the body seeking shelter in them, we offer an additional chapter to the story. Like an endless story. Thanks for joining me! I would love to hear your vintage story below.
Until next time
