Beach better have my sunny! And oh man, Malibu didn’t disappoint. I am still riding the metaphorical wave of pure delight after our day trip to the beach. I do live rather close to our sunny California shores but The Bu is a bit of a drive. However, you don’t need to force me to cruise down PCH on a warm and oddly, traffic-free day! So, today I’m talking swim. Swim that isn’t basic and fragile. I’m talking lux materials in of-the moment cuts. Suit’s that say, I may or may not have spent big bucks on this. I was sort of ignoring this task of suit searching until I stumbled on a gem online AND found out I could get a discount + help the planet!
This gem pictured below is a scalloped one piece from H&M and I held my breath when I saw it. It’s so gorgeous with it’s earthy hue and pretty detailed hem. It couldn’t have come at a better time because we just celebrated earth day and so every bag of unwanted clothes that gets donated gets you 15% off! Here’s the scoop right from the H&M website:
Drop your bag of unwanted clothing in the recycling box at your local H&M store. All textiles are welcome – any brand, any condition – even odd socks, worn-out T-shirts and old sheets. The textiles are then sent to the nearest recycling plant, where they’re sorted by hand. For every bag of textiles you drop off, you’ll receive a discount card for 15% off your next in-store purchase.
This changes sometimes during the Holidays or this past week where each bag counts for not one 15% off coupon, but TWO!! That’s a total of 30% off! So since I snagged two, I decided to pair this black swim suit as well. The top is made beautifully with thick fabric in bra form with adjustable straps. You can also remove the straps for a very Mediterranean look.
Both suits are amazing and perfect for this Mama who doesn’t exactly want to show too much. They also have a wide range of sizes. I am wearing a 2 but realized its a bit too tight so I opted to switch for a 4. Hurry over to your local H&M to drop off a bag of un-wanted clothes and feel good about donating this earth day.
